Vs. 6 – ” . . . and made him glad with the joy of your presence.”
I can think of the joy that I feel when I walk into a room where a good friend is. Immediately, I feel joy and peace. My friend and I can do anything. In fact, the actual activity doesn’t matter so much as we just enjoy being side by side doing something together.
With the Lord, the joy is even greater. When I walk into His presence, it might take me a bit longer to feel that He is really there. I have to get rid of some anxiety, some fear, some selfishness, some anger, and definietly some pride first. Then, there is a deep love and joy from the Lord. I love that place.
